Role and Responsibilities

As a part of a team, you will:

  • Plan and conduct study based audits (study plan, draft and final reports)
  • Inspect raw data and the experimental phase of GLP field studies (partly throughout the EU)
  • Report inspection results according to international guidelines and to the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
  • Maintain the SOP-system and the master schedule
  • Conduct facility based inspections within the test facility.
  • Be involved in writing SOPs and other quality concerned documents
  • Have the responsibility for the preparation, accompany and post processing of external inspections.
  • Organise and hold trainings in GLP relevant topics.
Profile and Qualifications
  • University degree in agricultural science, environmental or life science, chemistry, biology or related disciplines
  • You have a scientific background with skills in Agriculture and Biology
  • Profound knowledge of relevant guidelines and guidance documents
  • Experience in documentation according to GxP (preferably GLP)
  • Strongly motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Self-sustained way of working with a high degree of flexibility
  • Capability to work in a team and willingness to constantly keep your knowledge up-to-date
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written); German language skills would be an asset, but not mandatory
  • You will be working in a dynamic and experienced team of scientists in an internationally operating company, with a high degree of responsibility and independence

During the field season of our ecotoxicological studies we constantly need the support of field biologists. If you have (or still seek) a degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in Biology, Agriculture or any related subject and you are interested in working in an international team, this might be an opportunity for you!

Conditions and Tasks

  • Short-term assignments from 2 weeks up to 6 months (from Feb./Mar. to Sep./Oct.) throughout the EU
  • Work in teams of 2 to 20 people (depending on the study type)
  • Field work requires team players with high degree of flexibility, sometimes working in shifts and/or at night
  • Willingness to work outdoors in difficult and changing weather conditions
  • Shared accommodation in simple housing
  • Good knowledge of English required
  • Driving license required
