Environmental Impact Assessment

We guide our clients through the entire Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process to anticipate and subsequently evaluate the potential effects of their project on the environment before development through Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) based on project information and field data collected enabling a comprehensive analysis of environmental impacts and the implementation of necessary measures.

      Our services:

  • Biotope mapping: In the preparatory stages of your planned projects, GIS-based methods to record not only important flora and fauna, but also special structural elements and legally protected biotopes as well as home ranges of protected species requiring special consideration.
  • Environmental Impact Studies (EIS): tier3 provides the environmental impact studies (environmental reports) required for the implementation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)s. These include the impact/compensation balancing for flora and fauna, eco-control regulations and compensation requirements.
  • Identification and evaluation of Mitigation Measures: Avoidance is the most important aspect of the impact regulation. We develop suitable and realisable measures to avoid and minimise the negative effects of your project.
  • Ecological mitigation design and implementation: If project impacts cannot be avoided, we plan and implement optimally CEF (Continued Ecological Functionality) measures or FCS (Favourable Conservation Status) measures for your project.
  • Environmental Monitoring: We carry out monitoring evaluations to check the effectiveness of the compensatory measures introduced (e.g. CEF measures) and to ensure ongoing compliance with environmental regulations in consultation with the authorities.
  • Environmental Audits: We conduct audits to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented mitigation measures and ensure ongoing compliance with environmental regulations.
